Meet Liam

Our team - Liam BioTech graduate

Name: Liam

Role: Scientific Sales Executive

Favourite sport: Football

Interests: Nutrition and lifestyle fitness, binge-watching and following the football.

Liam is our new Scientific Sales Executive. He has been working in industry since completing his BSc in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. His experience specialising in qPCR, allowed him to gain plenty of hands-on laboratory experience. He also gained a key understanding of the inner workings of a contract research organisation.

After almost a year in industry, Liam decided to move into Sales, as well as move from Ireland to Yorkshire!

Liam has always had a passion for science and chose to specialise in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. From this, he has become well versed in a broad range of analytical procedures as well as pharmaceutical industry knowledge. Liam will be working in the Sales side of our science agency, to offer his expertise to a variety of scientific and technical clients.

And with the skills I honed at university, I believe my knowledge and skills are set to keep broadening here!’’

Role: Sales and Marketing Executive

Favourite Activity: Spending time with my daughter

Interests: Mindfulness, yoga, meditation and personal development

Chantelle is our new Sales and Marketing Executive. After having various roles in many different sectors, Chantelle wanted to settle into a business that reflected an honest and open ethos.

Her previous experience as a Telesales Team Leader means she has a fantastic sales approach and outlook on achieving goals for clients and her own personal development. Whilst also working as a mindfulness coach and exploring her passion in this field, she has brought a fresh attitude to work and has already boosted the spirit of the wider Sales and Marketing Team.

Meet Emily

Name: Emily

Role: Marketing Consultant

Favourite food: Nachos

Interests: Triathlon, painting, Leeds United and digital marketing!

Emily is our new Marketing Consultant. She has been working in marketing for the past 3 years in a variety of B2B and B2C settings. This has allowed her to gain an understanding of various digital routes to market which can in turn help our clients understand what marketing efforts will best suit their business in the present and future.

Emily previously worked as a Digital Marketing Executive which gave her hands-on experience with a variety of different channels and campaigns. Although digital is her passion, she can use her expertise to work with our scientific marketing agency on a variety of marketing campaigns.

Meet Katie

Role: Senior Technical Sales Consultant

Interests: Running, cycling, family time, gardening and guinea pigs!

Katie is our new Senior Technical Sales Consultant. She is a highly motivated and organised individual with a passion for science. With a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Manchester, Katie started her career in technical and scientific sales.

Katie has now been working in the life sciences industry for over 20 years and during this time has gained a wealth of experience selling a variety of different scientific products. Her portfolio expands to instrumentation and consumables to the academic, pharmaceutical, CRO and biotech industries.

”I’m really looking forward to helping Network Scientific’s broad client base grow their own businesses. I’m driven by targets and can’t wait to explore the diversity of selling new, innovative products!”
