There are many different things to consider when launching new campaigns or simply making sure that your product/service is still growing within the marketplace. For this reason, it can be invaluable having an Account Manager on board.

We have a strong team of experienced Account Managers here at Network Scientific who are proficient in maintaining existing relationships with clients or group of clients. Our Account Managers do not manage the daily running of the account itself, but manage the relationship with the client of the account(s) they are assigned to. Our Account Managers will act as an Ambassador for your Company. They will provide excellent customer service and will of course possess superb commercial acumen which helps with any business development discussions that are to be held with your clients. Their overall objective is to create long term relationships with your client portfolio. They will strive to understand your customer's demands and execute plans in order to meet those demands which in turn will generate Sales.

As standard practice here at Network Scientific our Account Managers will be expected to do the following:

  • Generate sales for a portfolio of accounts and reach the company's targets and KPI’s
  • Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts to retain a client-account manager relationship by up-selling and cross selling.
  • Manage and solve problems for clients. The Account Manager is expected to have specific information regarding daily operations of the company and keep the client updated.
  • Interact and coordinate with the sales team and other staff members in other departments working on the same account
  • Establish budgets with the client and company
  • Meet time deadlines for accounts

Some companies will focus initially on branding, advertising and marketing which is crucial, but without someone out in the field ’spreading the word’ there is no way of knowing how your product or service is being received. Knowledge is power and being face to face with your customers will not only enable you to maintain relationships but will also provide opportunity to gather information and therefore gain that knowledge. Identifying objections, looking out for competitors and giving constructive feedback with regards to your product or service will all contribute to a better business. The Account Manager is extremely valuable when it comes to business growth. Network Scientific’s Account Managers consistently demonstrate their worth to our client’s. With New Product Distribution especially they have been said to be key.
